I have xp pro which formerly opened to a full welcome
screen. Now I get a little box to put in my password. I
don't really care about the screen so much as to try and
figure out how to reverse what I have done as programs
now load much, much slower as do files. Unless this is
the result of some security update, it probably occured
when I made changes trying to share a removable hard
drive with my other computer. I unchecked the share
printers and files and restarted, but the problem
remains. Any help would be appreciated.
