Log In Screen Reverted to Old Version

Okay,
when i installed my Linksys Wireless-B USB Network Adaptor, in order to
accomidate my MACINTOSH (I love my Mac) Laptop with a Wireless Router, it
changed my welcome screen to the old login screen. How do i change it back
without loosing my wireless internet?

I forgot to mention, that when i tried to change it in user preferences, it
doesnt allow me to

Hi,

That means that it is using a network protocol that does not support the
"welcome screen" logon. The only solution may be to remove that protocol.
You will have to check to see if the Mac requires this protocol to work
properly (I suspect it does).
