Not sure if anyone has had or heard of this problem but maybe someone can
offer some help/advice.
I have a home network with three computers, all running XP-Pro, hard wired
through a router.
I am having this problem on only one (Dell 8200) of the computers.
When I go to a WEB site log it shows me as logged in. I then click to go to
one of the forum selections and it takes me there but logs me out.
Example: I go to MSGA.com and log in. I then click on the "New Forum" area
and it takes me there but logs me out. I log back in and go to a specific
topic and the same thing happens.
So far I have;
Remove all cookies
Reset security to "Medium"
Reset “Automatic Cookie Over-ride†to unchecked
Shut down Norton Password program
Shut down Windows Password program
Shutdown “Pop-Up blockerâ€
Restored to computer to a date before this problem started
Ran “Spy-Bot†then shut it down
Ran “Ad-Ware†then shut it down
Ran virus check (2 different ones)
Repaired Windows
Shut down as many programs running in the background as I have the knowledge
to do.
Nothing has worked and the problem is still there.
Any and all suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.
