Log in Help

I need help! I was the Administrator on a computer and I changed the Administrator to someone else with a new user name and new password. Now I tried to log the new Administrator on and I must have had a typo error because I can't log him in at all. I have tried everything. Can I reset the passwords? Or what can I do.
 
- Check the many posts in this group that have "password"
in the subject line.
- Plan ahead and create a second admin account in preparation
for the next accident.
