log-in/cookies?

Since deleting all the cookie files in IE6, all the
websites I vist w/log-ins have required me to do so
again. So far, so good, but upon revisiting these sites,
I'm being required to log in every time I go back there,
which wasn't the case prior to deleting the old cookies.
Any suggestions?
