Log Files

This is an addition to the "Another Folder/File Deletion Question"
Although 54 of the 61 folders are totally EMPTY, I decided to leave them
be. Thanks for the advice.

I have about 50 "KB8*******.log" files. Are these ripe for deletion ??
TIA for all responses.

No. Many log files are required to uninstall programs.
You'll have "issues" later on if you delete .log files.

I assume these are all SP2 or Windows Update log files (KB******.log)
I want to keep SP2 and all the updates so far. Does this fact make any
difference. I'm just asking because if the .log files have a purpose,
I'm more than willing to keep them. TIA
