Locking up with outgoing e-mails

I have Office 2003 with a new computer. I am having problems with my
Outlook. Everytime i try to send an e-mail the Outlook freezes for 5 min.
Most of the time the e-mail eventually sends, but sometimes it locks up and I
have to shut it down from the task manager.
The report that I get from the error reporter is that winfax from symantec
is causing the problem. I do not have winfax from symantec on my computer.
One other time the computer said it was an error with an I-tunes add-on. I
dont know how to turn that off.
Any sugestions???

Uncheck appropraite add-ins, go to Tools > Options > Other > Advanced
Options > Com add-ins also check add-in manager.
