POP3 Outgoing Mail Server

I currently use Outlook to manage my work e-mail, contacts, etc.
However, I am using Outlook on my laptop and at this time am not able
to use Outlook to check my e-mail outside of the office because my
outgoing mail server is through my work internet provider. When I am
connected through another provider, my e-mails will not send and I get
an error.

I want to be able to send e-mail not only from work, but from home or
when traveling. Can anyone help me out?

A couple of questions, what is the error you are getting. Also, your work IT dept should address it because they may not allow POP to go through there server. However you may be able to setup another SMTP address for the outgoing server when setting up the account.

more likely the problem is your work email server is on a LAN and not
available outside the office, you need to check with your IT person/dept to
see how to do it

The error states:

Find outgoing mail server (SMTP): Outlook could not connect to the
outgoing mail server (SMTP). The problem could be the server name or
port, or your server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL
settings in More Settings under Advanced tab.

I have no problem receiving the e-mail using their server, it's just
the outgoing mail where I receive the problem.
