I need to send a presentation to a client, but I don't
want them to be able to alter it at all. Is there anyway
that I can lock the presentation so all they can do is
watch it, not actually be able to play with it at all?
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

If you have PowerPoint 2002 or 2003 and they also have one of those versions
or they have the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer, you can assign a "modify" password
and just not tell them what it is. That will cause the file to open in
"Read Only".
