Locking and unlocking workstation

Before I re-installed XP, I could lock my workstation by clicking Win-L. This
cleared the screen, and launched a dialog box, with a messge something like:
"Only xxx or an administrator can unlock this machine. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to
unlock".

After re-installation, when I click Win-L, the login screen is launched. Any
of the system users can log in. I think all my stuff is saved. When the other
user logs out, and I log back in, then my screen is restored to its previous
configuration.

How do I revert to the old screen locking dialog box?

You need to go into Control Panel >> User Accounts >> Change the way a user
logs on or off.

Disable the Welcome Screen and Disable Fast User Switching.
