Locked table

I have a table that when ever I try to export it or copy it I get the message
that
I or someone else is also making changes and Jet has stopped the process.
I'm the only one using it. Where do I go to find what is locking this up?

Sometimes if the database is closed improperly (your computer crashed
perhaps) the database can become "locked". Look in the location where the
file is stored and see if you find what looks like the database with a little
lock symbol on it. You should be able to delete this if you've logged out of
the database and you're the only one using it. You could also try to Compact
and Repair the Database by opening Access manually (not by double-clicking
the file you need to repair). Goto Tools--->Database Utilities--->Compact
and Repair Database. Select the database and let it run.
