locked out

I am locked out as administrator and can not find the built in account for
administrator. I was an administrator in my own account but now it has mine
set as limited. First, would certain downloads cause that? At login all of
the users are missing except mine wich is the limited account. I am running
Windows xp pro 2002 with service pack 2

Downloads should not cause this, but viruses or other malware may have
unexpected consequences.
