Unless you've set the Administrator's password via the Management
Console (_not_ the Control Panel), it's probably still blank. WinXP Pro
asks the user to set the Administrator's password during installation,
but WinXP Home doesn't.

Simply log in using the built-in Administrator account (which
cannot be deleted) and modify the desired account(s) and use Start > Run
"control userpasswords2" to modify the desired account(s).

By design, the only way to log into the Administrator account of
WinXP Home is to reboot into Safe Mode. For WinXP Pro, pressing
CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the Welcome Screen will produce the standard login
dialog box.

Failing that, Linux-based password cracking utilities abound on the
Internet, freely available to anyone who can use Google, Yahoo, Ask.com,
etc.

If you are attempting to login locally you can reset the account by logging
into an alternative account with administrative privileges. If a secondary
account does not exit you can use the NT offline regrestry editor to
reset/unlock the admin password. The utility can be downloaded from here
http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/ once downloaded you must burn it to
a disk so it can be used to boot your pc. This utility will not work if your
hard drive is encrypted. This tool will work with Windows NT/2000/xp/vista.
It's best to blank out the password rather than change it using the utility
once you have blanked out the admin password you can login and change it
within the Windows Environment. Follow the instruction in the URL provided
carefully and good luck!
