Locked out of Windows at login

I changed my network designation from a domain (which
registers my login name and password) to a small workgroup
and now I can't log back in to windows since it won't
recognize my info.

Any suggestions before I use the install disc?

log on as the local administrator and don't try your former domain
credentials as they are not valid. If you don't know your local admin
ID/password your kind of SOL and will have to rebuild.
