Locked Out Of Excel

I have had my version of office premium since it came
out. I went to the download site to update office. I was
asked to insert the CD-ROM. I was unable to locate the CD-
ROM. I hit cancel. I found I was locked out of excel and
all excel documents (Word still works fine), as it asks
again for the CD-ROM (still cannot find it). I may never
find this CD, its been years since I purchased it...

Is there anything I can do to undo or escape this problem?

1. Find the CD, OR
2. Call MS and try to reason with them, OR
3. Buy another copy of Office Premium (Professional ?).

In any event, make it a goal to ALWAYS retain all original media and numbers
that activate the program involved.
