I am trying tosave data from a bad drive. It cannot be booted from. I have
the password I think, but no place to insert it. Here is what is happening.
The drive is installed as a master on the secondary IDE ribbon. When I boot
the machine it shows up as the D:\ Drive.
When I go into Windows Explore the drive is there. I open that drive and go
to 'Documents and Settings'. I scroll down to the name 'Regie'. I click on
that account and all of the subfolders open under it.
Now, lets say that I click on the 'ApplicationData' folder. This is when I
receive a pop up that states:
'Application Data not accessible....Access is Denied'. Now it does the same
thing on any folder under Regie.
All other Accts such as 'All users' or 'Default User' you can open and
browse anything that you want.
It seems to me that Regie has locked this folder in some way to prevent
anyone from viewing the folder?
