Removed drive from XP Home computer ( processor failure)..
Installed this drive as a slave drive in another XP Home computer...
Trying to save the data in the Document folder ( slave drive )...
The folder is Locked ( can't access )...
How can I "unlock" it to access the data?
Any help appreciated...

Since you're running Windows XP Home Edition, you
must start the computer in Safe Mode, and then log on with an
account that has Administrative rights to have access to the
Security tab. To start in Safe Mode, reboot your computer and
start tapping the F8 key as soon as you see anything displayed
on the screen. Keep hitting F8 until the Advanced Startup
Options menu appears. Use the up and down arrow keys on your
keyboard to select Safe Mode. Hit Enter.

Once you have access to the Security tab you can take ownership
of the files and give your account Full Control permissions.
Take a look at these articles for more info:

Good luck

Very excellent, Nepatsfan... Thank you...
Just curious, why does this have to be done in Safe Mode?

I believe it is because you are running XP Home. That feature isn't
available in 'normal' mode.

First off, I'm glad to hear you were able to recover your
files.

Now, to answer your question. As you saw in following the
procedure to recover your data, the first thing you have to do
is gain access to the Security page of the folder's Properties
sheet. In all versions of XP the Security page is, by default,
not displayed in Normal Mode. This is because what's called
Simple File Sharing is the standard means of governing access
to files and folders. Windows XP Professional and Media Center
Edition allow you to disable Simple File Sharing through the
Folder Options applet in Control Panel. Disable SFS and the
Security tab is available in Normal Mode.

With XP Home Edition, you can't disable SFS. You're only able
to access the folder's Security page in Safe Mode while logged
on with an account that is a Computer Administrator.

If you're curious, here are a few Microsoft articles dealing
with this subject.
