Locked files

I have moved a set of mpeg files into a subdirectory. It
appears that the system is convinced that the files are
still in use and I cannot access them in anyway.

When I follow the Windows media player help, it tells me
that they are misnamed or in use (I already know that).

I suspect that the system believes the files are still
in the original directory. The filesystem is ntfs.

Is there anyway to override the current lock of find out
who has the lock?

Newmessage/question: I have purchased this machine from
someone else and it came with some type of system to dis-
allow adult or sexual messages. How do I locate the
device and How can I defeat and allow such information?
