Lock Shared Directory

PAC

I am using three PCs in a network via a hub (1 x W2K and 2 x WXP Pro). Is
there a way to lock (prevent access) to the W2K PC's shared directory from
the two other WXP Pro PC's when I lock the W2K PC?

Thanx

So PAC....

Am I understanding your question here correctly? You want to prevent users
from accessing a computer when it gets locked? If you want to walk away from
the computer and not permit people to access it over the LAN...either shut
it off.....or stop the SERVER service.

This is an odd question. What is the underlyiing need here? Why would you
permit network access to a box when it is unlocked...but not when it is
locked? My experience has been that people either want a computer shared on
a network...or they don't.

I hope this helps....
