My "Lock" icon does not display when I am at a secure site. I know I was at
a secure connection, since it said
"Leaving a secure cinnection" when I left. Please advise. Thank you,

The website you are visiting may have frames which are not secure. However,
the data you enter in the secure window will still be transmitted in
secured characters.

This behaviour is by design.
