Lock Desktop Icons

Hi everyone,

I want to lock my desktop icons to keep them from being moved. However,
when I right click on the desktop and select. "Lock Web Items on My
desktop", the icons become locked in place but they get blocks around the
text rather than staying transparent. Any way to lock the icons but keep
the text see-through? Thanks.

If you want to keep your icons from self-arranging, align them to your
taste, then:

Right-click Desktop
Arrange Icons By
Align to Grid
