Location of temporary offline files

I use a large number of offline files on my laptop
running Win XP Prof. I would like to exclude the
temporary local copies of these files when I do my weekly
backups. Microsoft has made it very difficult to locate
these local copies. Can anyone help me locate them?
Thanks in advance for any help.
 
By default the files are in your Documents and Settings\[useraccount]\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files. The Local Settings folder is a hidden
folder.

You can change this location from Internet Options, General tab.
