I want to add a shortcut on my desktop to activate the Vista

They'll be in C:\Windows\System32\*.SCR. You will probably find that your
search was excluding system folders as this is the default behaviour.

They are still .scr files and they are still in the
%systemroot%\Windows\System32 folder, just like in XP. Make sure that you
deselect the "Hide extensions for known file types" option in Folder
Options/View Tab before searching.
