How to change scr from AutoCAD script back to screensaver

When I installed AutoCAD on my computer it reset the scr file extension to
AutoCAD script and set it to open in Notepad. How can I change the
association back to screensaver? I have seen nothing about this except how to
change it back in XP. I need to know how to change it in Vista. I know there
is a section in Default programs for changing which program opens a
particular file type, but I don't know which program should be chosen to make
it a screensaver association. Is there some other way to reset the file
association?

Try opening regacad17.dll with a hexeditor, and change the string at 1026Eh
from 's c r' to 's s s'.

Thanks. I have since found a way to change it in the windows registry editor.
I opened regedit.exe then went to scr in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. Then I right
clicked the default key in the right-hand pane and clicked Modify. I changed
the value to scrfile instead of AutoCAD Script. Then I exited regedit and
restarted the computer. That solved the problem. I also checked in regedit to
be sure scrfile was listed in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. It was in the list already
as I had expected it would be.

Are you sure that regacad17.dll has not re-registered the .scr file type as
an AutoCAD script? Have you rebooted, maybe run AutoCAD?
