I upgraded from Win98 to 2000 Professional with an upgrade
CD. I use Outlook Express for e-mail. After the upgrade,
I can't find the message files although I can read them in
Outlook. The properties of my inbox, outbox etc. says
they are at C:\Documents and Settings\Frank\Local
Settings\Application Data but I can't find that path
anywhere on my hard drive. I want to back up my e-mail
messages. Please help me find them.

By default the Store folder is
%userprofile%\Application Data\Identities\{SID}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
(Also note the directory may be hidden)

Or try searching your drive for the *.dbx files. Also see Tom Koch's web
site for some excellent help on backup/restoring your Outlook Express stuff.
