local settings folder

I've done a search for a file that is supposed to be in
\Documents and settings\user name\local settings
But when I browse to Documents and settings\user name
there is no local settings folder. Anyone have any idea
how I can get it to display?

The path on my computer is Documents and Settings, All Users, Local Service, Local Settings.

In an explorer window got to Tools | Folder Options | View | Show Hidden
Files and Folders

Hi Hillary

Now that's something I would not have I expected but looking at Properties confirms it is hidden. Some interesting things on the Sharing tab , which is why I suppose it is capable of being hidden.
