The Virus Vault of my AVG Anti-Virus History menu bar showed 2
infections in
C:\Documents and Settings\Jeffrey\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\...

However, the Windows Explorer did not display the Local Settings
subfolder under the Jeffrey folder.
How can I display these subfolders under Jeffrey?

TIA,
Jeffrey

Although Rey Santos' advice correctly explains how to make hidden files
and folders visible, I'm not sure why you would want to make those
folders visible.

First of all, if the infected files are in the AVG "Virus Vault,"
they're probably no longer in the TIFs.

Second, you can delete all of the files in TIF simply by going (in IE)
to Tools > Internet Options > General and clicking "Delete Files" under
"Temporary Internet Files." (Alternatively, Control Panel > Internet
Options > as above).

Third, even if you haven't enabled viewing of hidden files and folders,
if instead of attempting to browse to the desired location, you enter
the entire path name (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\Jeffrey\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files), the folder should open and display
the files therein.
