What does this option means in *Local Security Policy*

Network Security : Sharing and security model for local accounts

* Classic : local users authenticate as themselves
* guest only : locl users authenticate as guests

That is only available on Windows XP Pro I believe. Guest only means that users that
try to access the computer shares will be authenticated as guest. Classic means that
they will be authenticated based on the account that they are logged onto which is
the same that NT4.0 and Windows 2000 uses. I believe that when an XP Pro computer is
joined to a domain it is set to "classic". The link below is excellent at explaining
