I've been working in a workgroup. I've since joined a domain. I need to
get my settings - Outlook, Outlook Express, Dial-up, etc., from my local
workgroup account to my local domain account. What steps should I take?

I have full admin privileges.

THanks

You can copy the old profile using the Control Panel Systems applet.

The old profile is named unknown account...

The old profile is named mycomputer/mylocalid.

I this copied toC:\tempprofile, hard drive was doing something, but the
contents remain empty. Then tried to copy to new profile at C:\Documents
and Settings\Administrator.mydomain with the same results.

Help states:
To copy a user profile

1.. Open System in Control Panel.
2.. On the User Profiles tab, and under Profiles stored on this computer,
click the user profile you want to copy, and then click Copy To.
3.. In the Copy To dialog box, under Copy profile to, type the location
for the new profile, or click Browse to select the path.
4.. Click Change to open the Choose User dialog box, click a new user from
the Names list, and then click Add. The new user name will appear in Add
Name. Click OK to add the user as a new user profile on your computer.
I did all this.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Rod
