Local profile hangs but Admin. profile works fine.

I need some help. Got a laptop connected to a domain. Server = 2003. When I start the computer at home it start to log in but then it hangs up. When i try to log in as Admin it works fine with no problems at all. I have tried to delete and recreate my profile from the server but the problem won´t go away. Even if I delete my profile it won´t help. My profile is 2,6 Gb. Could that be a problem? Someone got a clue what I should look for?

An administrator can log on to any PC. Your user account will cache the
profile to use when the domain controller isn't available. That profile is
obviously very large. Does anything in the profile contain drive mappings
to server resources?
