Local print jobs go to network printers

I have a HP 4050 attached to the lpt port on my computer.
My computer is running Windows XP Pro. When I try to
print a test page to verify that the printer is installed
properly to my computer ... the test page winds up on
another printer attached to our server, which is running
MS Server. Any ideas???
 
Right click on the printer and select properties, go to the ports tab and
make sure you have just LPT1: selected as the port.
