Used to Win95 Poledit command. Would like to use same
sort of command in WinXPHome SP2 standalone computer.

I see alot of references to gpedit.msc but cannot run
that command from Admin account. It cannot find any file
by that name. Also tried to go to MMC and find Group
Policy. There is no group policy in MMC.

Thanks for your help!

gpedit.msc, which is Group Policy, is not available on XP Home, only with XP
Pro.

[[When you're outside of a domain environment, XP has some features missing.
XP Home leaves you completely without the Group Policy Editor, while XP Pro
lacks the ability to use the Group Policy Editor to selectively apply
policies to specific users.

Well, that's about to change.

Doug's Windows XP Security Console allows you to assign various restrictions
to specific users, whether you're running XP Pro or XP Home.]]
