Hello,

We are about to upgrade a remote office to XP Pro from 98. The
remote office doesn't have a server or domain, each computer just belongs to
a workgroup. I want to know if there is a way I can setup the local policy
on my laptop and once at the remote office export my laptop's local policy
to each of the computers so that I don't have to manually configure each of
the workstations. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

John if you wanna log in remotely from your Ltop to your
office with out a central point. (server) U will need to
have Windows Xp on both machines. U will need to create a
user that you will only use to log in remotely and give
him access to (in this case) dial-in securely by VPN. VPN
will enable you to work securely over the internet, and in
retrospect to having this machine available on the net U
will also need to make shure its securely patch before it
sees the day of the internetwork.
