Local Administrtor account disabled via RIS deployment

Howdy! Howdy!

I put this in the WINDOWS XP SETUP AND DEPLOYMENT NG as
well as this one.....sorry!

A bit new to WIN2003 Server / WINXP Pro RIS configuration
( I know, I know - this is the WIN2000 NG! Just hoping
that Scott or Oli or someone else may have experienced
this ). Making use of $OEM$ and several of the other nice
little goodies. Included inside the $OEM$ folder is $$
with a wmp.cmd file and I am making use of the GUIRunOnce
statement. However, it seems that when using RIS to
deploy WINXP Pro SP1a the local administrator account is
disabled. This is not the case with my WIN2000 SP3 / SP4
images.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I have
searched the KB Articles but found nothing....

Thanks all,

Cary

Remove the following line in the "ristndrd.sif" file
DisableAdminAccountOnDomainJoin = 1
Or change it to "0"

Johan!

That particualr setting is not there so I will add it and
give it a "value" of 0. Thank you for you assistance. I
have never seen this one before....I love it when I learn
something new...

Thanks again,

This value is default when running risetup on a Windows XP SP1
Are you sure you are looking in the correct ristndrd.sif file? (There
is one for each ris image)

I did not *really* look. I am building a couple of
systems right now so I will have to look in an hour or
so. Thank you for responding. I probably would have
found it anyway but it is nice for the heads up.

Thanks again,

Cary
