loads up then reboots

i have and hp pc with xp home on it and when i start the computer up it loads
up with no trouble but as soon as put password in and it opens the user part
it all of a sudden it reboots itself how do i fix that

Hi,
You don't need to post the same question twice, just wait for a reply other
users will get to you eventually I'm sure.
Can you login using the default administrator account.?? To do this you will
need to enter safemode then the administrator account will be visible. If
you can then create a new user & try again with the PC booting normally. If
the new account works then your user account has become corrupted by
something. By using the safemode administrator account after that you can
copy your files to the new user account and use the new account. Desktop
settings and emails etc will need to be set manually in the new account.
