I have retried this a few times. Did it without issue on ME, but now trying
to setup Home Neteorking on my W98se Laptop it appears fine then on reboot
says
upnp.dll - corrupt or missing
hnetwiz.dll - corrupt or missing

I have these files and see the setup attempted to modify them. I don't know
where to find them. Should I just copy the versions off of ME or XP and try
again? I really want to avoid rebuilding the laptop just for networking,
but it had been sharing the network just fine in the pre-XP days with my ME
desktops. XP didn't like the ME way of networking so I moved forward.

Any specific references or reassurance would eb appreciated.

Thanks

On W98se, go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Windows Setup |
Communications and un-install "Universal Plug and Play". That should
fix the problem.
