Loading PDF files!!

When I try to access a link that uses PDF format or just run Adobe Acrobat
Reader Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer trys to load up, but it can't. It
says the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable. So the computer locks up and I can't do anything. Any
suggestions would be appreciated
