Running WIN XP on cable modem, boot up is fine, but when you log on to
specific user account (there are 4 different ones on computer), loading user
settings takes at least 10-15 minutes. The computer constantly grinds like
it's looking for something to load. The hourglass icon flashes on and off.
Tried running 2 different adware programs, ran defrag, even set up new user
account to see if it would open any faster.... nothing changes. This seems
to have started after installation of SP2. Occasionally get an error message
saying cannot find "Windows\AppPatch\..." Ready to boot computer out
window.
