loading a template automatically

Hi,
I made a Word template in Word2000 (test.dot) that includes a macro. I
have two questions
1. Where have I to put the template so Word autimatically load it every
time it starts ?
I put it in the forlder "startup" without success allthough it
includes another template that Word loads automatically
Is there a registry record that manages this ?
2. I locked the template with a password to protect my job. Is it
secure enough ? or I have to do something else ?

If the template requires a password to open, then this may be the problem.
Change it to a password to modify.
