Loaded XP Service pack 2 recently

Loaded Service Pack 2 the other day and now (on start up) getting message on
desk top as follows: quote windows cannot find
c\windows\system32\pwrctrl.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly etc
etc unquote.

If I cancel this messsage I then get: quote Could not load or run ' ditto
file above' specified in registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer
or remove reference to it in registry unquote.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?
 
Hi

Have a look in msconfig>startup to see if the file is referenced there. If
so, uncheck it, and reboot your system.
