Loaded SP2 for XP now i cannot access web thought IE 6

Hi, After loading sp2 for xp i cannot access the web through Inter Explorer.
I get "Cannot find server or DNS Error" message for all sites. I have removed
the sp2 update but still no sucess. I have tried a number of things suggested
on teh microsoft site but with no sucess. The help about mentions xpsp2 and
then update version sp1 ??. My msn messenger works fine.
