Live One Care and printer

P

pipdev

Two PCs linked by ethernet cable:-

This one - Clarencetoo
The other - Claratoo

both running XP

cannot share printer attached to Claratoo with this PC. This is a new
problem as of some 3 or 4 months ago.

Printer is Epson Stylus Color 460;

It is NOT on list of unsupported printers, but rt-click on it has One Care
saying it is unsupported.

However, it had been shared perfectly form the very beginning of One Care.

I have tried all the troubleshooting steps, including NOT having a hub PC,
but to no avail.

Any help will be appreciated, as we are both disabled and need things to
work !!

Thank you.

You've asked your Windows-related question in a .NET programming group.
You'll get more help in an appropriate group. Here's how to find it:

As you appear to be using a web interface:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows,
find the Windows XP category . Open it and find a group for your question.

thank you for your response. That is where I started, and could not find a
group with obvious relevance. I am somewhat annoyed that I seem to be getting
little help form M'soft for a paid for product !

I'll try again.
