little screws for laptop

anyone know what size the little screw is that holds the metal cover
over the memory area on a Gateway laptop? I don't have a thread gauge
that fine nor do I have a hardware store nearby that sells hardware that
small, so I'm stuck with mail order.

Any pc repair depot should be able to give you one at no cost or maybe
a dime.

I would suggest to bring your laptop to a local computer repair shop and
lets them do the wild guessing for you.
