PCMCIA slot good for nothing?

hi...

I have this laptop with a PCMCIA slot, and frankly I haven't used one of
those since the early days of wireless networking.

Looked at some flash memory and hard disks, but they all were very large in
physical size and small in storage size.

Is there any hardware out there that can restore the slot to former glory?

Well, if you can't find anything else to use the slot, I guess you can use
it to keep the business cards <bg>

Me, I have never used it either, but it won't bother me a bit and never
wonder whata do with it (until you mention it so I came up with the idea to
keep the business cards).

eSATA, Firewire, EVDO rev A are the most common uses in my own circles.
