List View as Default

Is there a way in Windows 2000 and Windows XP to do
something so that the listview is the default view? So
that when you open a folder you do not have to click list
on the view toolbar? Thanks.

Once you're in a Windows Explorer window with it set to List view, go up to Tools | Folder Options.

Once in there, click on the View tab and then click on the "Like CUrrent Folder" button.

That'll do it!
