Our local network has both windows, linux and macs. When a linux users views
my system they can access all my drives, shared or not. The macs can only
access the folders I have shared. What's up with that? How can I stop that? I
don't want the geek linux users access my entire drives!!!

You your firewall and block him. Linux can see everything till you block the
IP.

Probably linux sees administrative shares: C$, D$ etc. Stop sharing them (search in KB).
