R Rob van der Putten Apr 26, 2011 #5 Hi there Just download it and tell cups to use it. Cups has a GUI installer for this sort of things. Click to expand... I just discovered that it also has a scanner. This is probably why a lot of people refer to hplip. EG; http://forums.opensuse.org/english/...hp-deskjet-d3050-all-one-opensuse-11-3-a.html http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/index.html This page is even Mandriva specific; http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/manual/distros/mandriva.html Maybe Mandriva supplies hplip as well. In which case you can use the Mandria installer. Regards, Rob
