Linksys PCMCIA Card

SOme one please help me i dont know why but my linksys
card is no longer working properly. When i put it into
the slot the Act light just comes one and when i plug it
into the network nothing happens it doesnt even say there
is a link? does anyone no what my problem is?

Does a different card work? If so, then the first one is broken.

To get really good help around here, you should include
info about your machine & operating system, other stuff
installed, etc,..I would open up control panel/network
connections and control panel/system/hardware/device
manager/PCMCIA and see if windows knows that you have
this slot and that the card is installed. These deals are
usually a missing/corrupted driver for the device or it
could be for the PCMCIA controller itself, (or, you sat
on the Linksys card....) Try some other card in the slot
if you have one; that would point to the card & its
software, or to the controller & its software.
I'm not a professional; troubleshooting by substitution
requires little knowledge and can lead you to the problem
component even if you dont understand any of them...
