I am having a problem with links not opening in programs. Cannot open
internet links or links to other programs from Windows manager or e-mail
client. I am using Vista Home Premium.
 
Make sure IE is set as your default browser:

Click Start, select "Default Programs"
Click "Set program access and computer defaults"
Click "Custom" and select "Internet Explorer"
Click OK
 
I made the changes you suggested. It didn't help. When I tried Windows
Mail, the error message said Application not found when I clicked on a link.
