err select the link, right-click, choose "copy", go into the email,
right-click, choose "paste" perhaps? Just like you copy and paste anything
else.

Here's one method:

Select the link.
Press CTRL+C
Place the cursor where you want the link to go.
Press CTRL+V.

thanks for the advice both copied the link ok, but just as text. How do I
make the link dynamic.

Place your cursor at the end of the link and press Enter.
